Our experienced instructors emphasize practical application through hands-on practice, ensuring you develop the confidence and competence to respond when someone experiences cardiac arrest in your workplace, home, or community.

This course is ideal for individuals fulfilling workplace safety requirements, parents and caregivers wanting basic CPR knowledge, teachers and coaches responsible for youth supervision, and anyone seeking fundamental life-saving skills. Upon successful completion, participants receive certification documentation valid for two years.

Core Emergency Response Skills

Our Heart Saver curriculum focuses on the most critical interventions for adult cardiac emergencies, providing straightforward instruction that prepares you to act decisively when minutes matter.

Cardiac Emergency Recognition

Learn to identify signs of cardiac arrest, heart attack, and stroke. Understand when to call 911, when to begin CPR, and how to activate emergency response systems effectively.

High-Quality Chest Compressions

Master proper hand placement, compression depth, and rate for adult CPR. Practice maintaining consistent, effective compressions that maximize blood circulation during cardiac arrest.

Rescue Breathing Techniques

Perform appropriate rescue breathing using barrier devices, understanding proper head positioning, breath volume, and coordination with chest compressions during two-rescuer scenarios.

AED Operation

Safely operate automated external defibrillators including power activation, pad placement, ensuring patient and rescuer safety during rhythm analysis, and delivering shocks when advised by the device.

Choking Relief for Adults Recognize complete airway obstruction and perform abdominal thrusts (Heimlich maneuver) for conscious choking victims. Understand appropriate modifications for unconscious patients.

Ideal for Non-Healthcare Professionals

The Heart Saver Course serves individuals seeking practical CPR knowledge without healthcare provider certification requirements.
