Training Structure & Certification Process


Course Duration & Schedule

This five-hour course includes didactic instruction, hands-on skills practice, scenario-based exercises, and certification testing. We offer flexible scheduling with weekend, weekday, and evening course options to accommodate working professionals. Group and organizational training can be scheduled at your facility location.


Prerequisites & Preparation No prior medical training or certification required. Course materials are provided and include reference guides, practice worksheets, and certification examination. Participants should wear comfortable clothing suitable for kneeling and physical activity during skills practice sessions.


Skills Assessment & Testing Certification requires successful demonstration of all core skills including adult CPR, pediatric CPR, infant CPR, AED operation, and choking relief techniques. Written examination covers recognition, assessment, and appropriate intervention protocols. Instructors provide feedback and additional practice opportunities to ensure competency.


Certification & Recertification Upon successful completion, participants receive American Heart Association-aligned BLS certification valid for two years. Digital and physical certification cards provided. Recertification courses available as expiration approaches—contact us six months before your certification expires to schedule renewal training.


Course Materials Included All necessary training equipment, practice manikins, AED trainers, reference materials, and certification examination are included in course investment. Participants leave with reference guides for future review and certification documentation for employer or licensure submission.
